Account Creation Rewards
Learn how to automatically reward customers when they create an account
You can set up automatic rewards that customers receive when they create an account. This is a great way to welcome new customers and encourage them to make their first purchase.
Setting Up Account Creation Rewards
1. Navigate to the Loyalty Section
- Log into your Lantern account
- Go to the Loyalty section
2. Add a Membership Tier
- Select Add Tier
- Name your membership tier
- Set the minimum spend and points to 0
- Remove or add benefits as needed
- Save the membership tier
3. Create a Reward
- Go back to the Loyalty section and navigate to Rewards
- Click on Create a New Reward
- Choose the type of reward you would like to give the customer upon account creation
- Configure the reward as needed
- Save the reward
4. Assign the Reward for Account Creation
- Go to the Earn Events section
- Click Create Event
- Select Account Creation as the event trigger
- Choose the reward you created
- Save your changes
Customer Experience
When a customer creates an account, they will automatically receive the assigned reward. The reward will be visible in their Wallet within their account.
Customization Options
You can set up different types of rewards instead of an order discount, such as:
- Points
- Free shipping
- Product discounts
- Percentage off orders
- Fixed amount off orders
